NEET Exam 2022
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam on July 17, 2022. The last date for candidates to submit the NEET application form and pay the application fee for the national-level medical entrance test was May 20, 2022. The application form correction window is now closed, although the National Testing Agency opened a one time window for candidates to make corrections to their ‘Category’. The candidates who were not able to mention their category due to the non-availability of category certificate earlier, or wanted to change their category were able to do so from June 14 to 16, 2022. NEET UG admit card was released on July 12, 2022.
Only candidates who have successfully submitted their NEET 2022 application forms will be able to access their admit cards from the official website. NEET is the single largest medical entrance examination conducted in India. The exams in 2022 will be conducted in the pen and paper mode. Candidates who successfully clear the NTA NEET exams 2022 will be eligible to pursue graduation in the medical and dental courses.

Questions in NEET exam 2022 will be asked from the Classes 11 and 12 syllabi of Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Candidates can go through the complete syllabus before applying for the NEET exam on the official website.
NEET 2022 Registration
Below are the steps to fill out the NEET application form for 2022 :
- Visit the NEET official website – neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on ‘NEET (UG) 2022 Application’.
- Now click on ‘New Registration’.
- The NEET 2022 Registration window will open. Candidates have to fill in their personal details like name, date of birth, gender etc.
- Click on the checkbox and tap on ‘Click here to Proceed’.
Note: NEET application number will be generated and displayed on the screen.

- Candidates should log in to the official website using their credentials.
- Fill out the application form for NEET 2022 with the necessary details.
- Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
- Now, pay the application fee.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

NEET Age Limit Criteria
To be eligible to appear for NEET 2022:
- Candidates should have attained 17 years of age at the time of admission or as on December 31, 2022.
- Earlier the upper age limit was 25 years for candidates belonging to the General category and 30 years for candidates belonging to the reserved categories, however, now, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has removed the upper age limit for all the candidates who wish to appear in the UG NEET exams.
- Now, candidates can go ahead and can get admitted to the MBBS courses across India without having to pay heed to upper age limit requirements.
NEET Minimum Educational Qualification Criteria
To be eligible to appear for NEET 2022:
- The candidates must have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognised board of education.
- The minimum makes required for the General category candidates is 50%, for the SC/ST/OBC categories is 40%, and 45% for PWD.
NEET 2022 Admit Card

- Candidates can download the hall tickets for the exam of any session from the official website at neet.nta.nic.in. Please note that the NEET admit card is released in an online mode only.
- Candidates have to log in to their candidate portal with their user credentials. These credentials will be system generated at the time of registration.
