NTSE- National Talent Search Examination
NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is a national-level scholarship program conducted by NCERT to assist financially to talented and meritorious students for their entire Academic Career with an amount of Rs 1250 per month for Grade 11th and Rs.2000 per month for Grade 12th. NTSE is only held for 10th Standard students. The scholarship level is up to PhD level, if the candidate pursues the approved courses in Science, Engineering, Medical Streams, and Social Science only and in India. The scholarship will discontinue if the candidate is getting a scholarship under any other scheme or working anywhere. If any candidate drops studies or discontinues, the scholarship will not be awarded.
The examination is conducted in two stages, Stage I, and Stage II. Stage I is a State Level examination which is conducted by the State(SCERT) as per the syllabus of the State Board and NCERT.
Stage II is a National level examination which is conducted by NCERT as per the CBSE syllabus, for those students who have cleared the stage 1.
A maximum no of 260 candidates ( approx. ) will qualify for NTSE Stage 2 from Odisha. 2000 students Nationally qualify in NTSE stage 2 and become eligible for scholarships to pursue higher studies.
NTSE Eligibility for Stage 1 (State Level Examination)
Due to the COVID situation in the country, the date of registration and examination for 2022’ has not yet been announced but students who are pursuing their studies from schools in India are eligible to appear in the stage 1 exam. Eligibility criteria are as follows:
• The candidate must be a Class X student from any Government/ Private school in India.
• There is no domicile restriction. The candidate can be from any State/Union Territory of India.
• The candidates studying in open or distance learning are also eligible to appear in the NTSE Examination provided they are less than 18 years of age, not employed, and are appearing for the Class X board examination for the first time.
NTSE Eligibility for Stage 1 (State Level Examination)
Only the students who qualified in stage 1 (state-level examination) are eligible to appear for the Stage 2 examination. The roll number, venue, and date of examination details will be conveyed to the selected candidates by NCERT through its official website.
NTSE Eligibility for Students Studying Abroad
• The candidate must have scored 60% in the previous year’s annual examination.
• The candidate should appear for the examination in a centre in India.
• The candidates must request through the Head of the Institution where he/she is studying, along with an attested copy of the Class IX mark sheet. The request should reach the Head, Department of Educational Survey Division, NCERT, and New Delhi by the announcement of the date.
• The selected candidate will receive the scholarship only if he/she decides to pursue studies in India.
Exam Pattern of NTSE
The questions in the exam are multiple-choice questions. The exam pattern for NTSE is the same for both stage 1 and stage 2. The exam consists of two tests:
Mental Ability Test (MAT)
Test a student’s ability to problem-solving and reasoning skills. The questions are designed to assess students’ mental abilities across a variety of areas. This section offers questions that require logical and analytical reasoning. This portion assesses the candidate’s reasoning, thinking, evaluating, discriminating, and visualizing abilities.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
There are 100 questions in this section, which cover Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and English Language. This component assesses the student’s ability to read, interpret, evaluate, and have general knowledge of the subjects. To improve their preparations, candidates must have a thorough understanding of the NTSE Syllabus.

Syllabus of NTSE
The NTSE exam syllabus is one of the most important components to prepare for the exam. The NTSE Syllabus (NTSE stage 1 syllabus and stage 2 syllabus) is provided here so that students can prepare for the exam in a better way. The NTSE Exam is conducted for students studying in Class 10. Only 10th-standard students (below 18 years of age) are eligible to appear for the examination

Our Program :
Candidates will get 90 hours of teaching time to prepare and enable them to complete the syllabus of SAT (Science, Mathmetics, and Social Studies) and 30 hours to complete the syllabus of MAT (Mental Ability) respectively for Grade 9 and Grade 10. Each subject will be taught by qualified and expert teachers who will also mentor and support the candidates to succeed in the NTSE Examination.
Along with lectures we are also providing SmartNotes , CPP (Chapter Practice Papers) along with Answer Keys for all the chapters covered by the Teachers and Mentors. PowerPoint presentations are also provided as per the chapter requirement for better understanding.
